Hundreds of passengers stranded as Arik air,foreign airlines are faced with high cost of operations in the country.

  To bypass high prices of fuel and the fuel scarcity faced in Nigeria Foreign Airlines are now refueling abroad before coming to Nigeria.

  Arik airline has been suspended from carrying out it normal flight operation s in the country because of it inability to obtain aviation fuel. Hundreds of passengers were stranded as a result of it's inability to carry put its normal operations.

  Among this are said to be the reasons that has resulted in the present situation faced by the airline; insurance cover in Europe and elsewhere had been withdrawn, high cost of aviation fuel in the country has contributed also for the present situation with the Airline and also the strict polices adopted by the CBN (Central Bank Of Nigeria) in solving the economic crises facing the country is making fuel marketers no to get access to enough dollar to be able to do there normal routine businesses.
